The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network has become the Official Health Care Partner of Bucks Gaming, the Milwaukee Bucks’ affiliate in the NBA 2K League. Froedtert & MCW is the first founding partner of the Milwaukee Bucks to sign on with Bucks Gaming.
“We’re thrilled to extend the organization’s partnership with Froedtert & MCW to Bucks Gaming,” said Colin Hayes, Co-Managing Director of Bucks Gaming. “We’ve placed an enormous emphasis on health and wellness for our players this season and believe that a healthy lifestyle is paramount to achieving peak performance for our team on and off the court.”
As part of the partnership, Bucks Gaming will make a series of visits to Froedtert & MCW locations to visit and interact with patients and their families.
“We are excited to be a part of Bucks Gaming, and we see this partnership as another way to connect with a younger generation within our community and stress the importance of good health to NBA 2K League fans,” said Chris Sadler, Director of Marketing — Advertising and Digital Communications, of Froedtert Health. “This expanded partnership with the Bucks continues to reflect the conviction of both organizations that it is our role and responsibility to lead the way toward a strong and healthy future for our city and all involved in the NBA 2K League.”
In its second season in the NBA 2K League, Bucks Gaming is 5-5 through the first six weeks of regular season action and 3-3 in tournament play. Led by Aaron “ARooks” Rookwood, who is third in scoring in the NBA 2K League averaging 22.0 points per game, Bucks Gaming has a bye in Week 7 before it returns to action on Friday, June 7, when it takes on Magic Gaming at 5 p.m. CT.
