Bucks Gaming to Host First-ever Youth Summer Camp
June 22, 2022
The first ever Bucks Gaming Youth Camp will be held this summer in Milwaukee from June 29-30 and August 10-11.
The Bucks Gaming Youth Camp will offer two sessions. Each session will be a two-day experience, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with lunch provided both days.
The first session, in which the campers will be playing Rocket League, is from June 29-30 and open to kids ages 12-14. The second session, in which the campers will be playing NBA 2K22, will be held on August 10-11 and open to kids 13-16. There are six spots available for each session.
“We are incredibly excited to be launching the Bucks Gaming Youth Camp,” said Bucks Gaming Esports Manager Patrick Glogovsky. “The Bucks already offer an extensive lineup of basketball camps for Wisconsin youth, so we set out looking to provide another outlet for kids in the area that may be more interested in the competitive gaming and esports side of athletics. The camp will offer an engaging gaming experience that will shed light on how to compete amongst the best in professional gaming.”
The Bucks Gaming Youth Camp, which will be held at Bucks Gaming’s professional gaming facility, will be an interpersonal learning experience led by former collegiate Rocket League player Joshua Fendry-Gill. Bucks Gaming wants to provide a unique gaming experience to Milwaukee-area youth, giving them an opportunity to learn more about competitive gaming and what it takes to play at an elite level.
Register for either session here. The deadline to register for the first session is Friday, June 24, at 11:59 p.m., while the deadline for the second session is Friday, August 5, at 11:59 p.m.
